Youth focused, The Handover, is a poignant reminder that during a divorce it is often the children that are most affected. The Handover is a very simple concept. The host, a single divorced parent, is going to do The Handover. Picking up the child. Or children at one of the parents and driving them to the other. While in the car the host and the child have some very frank conversations about their situation. Reflecting on the divorce and their new life and how things have changed. Sometimes sad, sometimes happy perhaps even relieved but always honest. The audience sees a perspective that is at times forgotten but central to the issues that affect divorced families, educational for both children and adults.
