LINEUP INDUSTRIES FORGES KRO-NCRV DISTRIBUTION DEAL

Far-reaching representation deal for hit Long Lost Family

Independent international distribution company Lineup Industries has secured a deal with KRO-NCRV, the largest Dutch public broadcaster, to exclusively represent KRO-NCRV’s hit format Long Lost Family (aka Find My Family) which airs on NPO 1 in the Netherlands as well as around the world. Lineup will handle all existing licensees for the series as well as forging new broadcast deals.

Ed Louwerse, co-founder of Lineup Industries said: “Long Lost Family is one of the strongest performing factual entertainment shows in the market, as well as one of the few factual formats which has been recommissioned everywhere season on season. We’re thrilled to be working with KRO-NCRV on maximising it internationally.”

Yvonne de Haan, CFO KRO-NCRV: “We were seeking a distributor to boost our ideas on format development and the global presence of our IP. We were impressed by the focused and tailored approach of Lineup Industries. Their experience will be invaluable in finding the right local partners to roll out Long Lost Family across the globe.”

Long Lost Family is one of the most successful factual entertainment shows on UK channel ITV1 where it is currently returning for an impressive sixth season, as well as on international channels including TV3 in Ireland, also in its sixth season of airing the show. The series is in its tenth incarnation in Norway and eleventh in Italy, Denmark and Germany. Recent launches include Hungary where the second season aired this year on RTL Klub.

Lineup Industries will also handle global rights to the finished UK versions of Long Lost Family totalling 35 episodes with eight more to come from season six.
