Kids Go Free

In 1975, 80% of children walked to school compared to only 6% today. Since Lockdown, British children spend, on average, less time outside each day than prisoners in high security jails! Designed with child psychologists and sociologists, this ground-breaking, bold, yet warm and funny observational series will see pairs of children, dropped miles from home, alone. They need to make their way back unaided, all the while their parents/guardians are watching a live feed. The adults will comment, argue and stress more than the children!

Finding your way home from an unknown location is a rights-of-passage and a journey of self discovery in many cultures around the world. This is the modern televised interpretation. Safety protocols are followed throughout and, while the kids may not know it, help is only ever seconds away. Question is, will anyone hit the panic button or will the kids go free?
